About Us
Local 800 is comprised of Art Directors, Graphic Artists, Illustrators, Matte Artists, Model Makers, Production Designers, Scenic Artists, Set Designers and Title Artists. Local 800 IATSE, is a local union of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE). The "IA" as it is commonly known, is an international union, which exclusively represents employees in the entertainment industry, spanning the United States and Canada with more than 104,000 members.

Figure Drawing Workshop
The ADG Figure Drawing Workshops are uninstructed, and informal. For your convenience, there are 16 seated drawing horses, 10 easels and 10 drawing boards for use, which are available on a first come-first served basis. Figure drawing workshops are open to Guild members and the general public. For dates and details of weekly schedule and cost click here.
The ADG Scholarships
The ADG / Richard Stiles Scholarship: The Art Directors Guild will award two $4,000 scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year. These two scholarships are offered to children, dependents, spouses and domestic partners of members in good standing. For more information, click here.
Gallery 800
Located in the heart of the Noho Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases Guild members’ personal artwork in a series of shows throughout the year. These talented artists are leading art department professionals, who, through a combination of observation, passion and imagination, bring the writer's words and the director's vision to life in television and film.
